Pray for Japan

I think everyone has heard about the 9.0 magnitude earthquake and the tsunami in Japan. Even for a country as well prepared as Japan, the destruction is devastating. To think, I was at Kangar enjoying my lunch when Japan suffered such a blow to it's country.

It makes you realised that life is fragile and that we should cherish every moment we have because lives will be lost in just moments. I'll have to applaud the Japanese for remaining calm and so strong after such an catastrophic event. I've seen so much footage and photos on the earthquake and tsunami and it is really saddening to see people being swept away by the waves. Thousands of lives are lost and people lost their homes to the tsunami and fires or explosions from the earthquake.

What touched my heart the most is the generosity and kindness of Japanese. They are so selfless and compassionate to others. They give out food and shelter to strangers and help each other. They don't steal or fight for food or cut queue. They try their best to assist each other and stay strong. They show such a great spirit in a time of devastation.

Japan, ganbatte kudasai!!
