We Got Married

Here's to Hui Ping who said I haven't updated for a long time. I was 10 days ago...haha.

No...I didn't get married...I don't even have a candidate in the running...If I ever get a candidate, you'll be the first to know..

I'm sure you know what I'm talking about...It's Star Wedding, We Got Married. You must be thinking "Geez...this show is like such a long time ago and this girl just watched it??" The fact that I just watch it is embarassing i know but hey I wasn't bored enough to start watching. I thought the show would be boring but it turns out to be really funny and interesting. It even made me a fan. I'm addicted to it now. I'm at episode 17 after watching it for 3 days. Every single day for the last 3 days after coming back from class, I actually sat down in front of my laptop and ignoring the fact that I have heaps of homework, I watched it. As a matter of fact, I watched it till 3a.m. in the morning yesterday and I keep nodding off in class the next morning.

I can't help it.....So Hui Ting, now I understand how you wonder you keep watching non-stop. No wonder Siaw Ping and Hui Ping is watching it non-stop too and it's actually a great stress reliever. I laughed like hell everytime I watched it. It makes you really think whether the relationship is real or not too. I just become a great fan of Andy and Solbi and even Hyun Joong and HwangBo. It turns out I am crazy of this show as them.

***Spoilers ahead***

I actually felt sad for Solbi when she told Andy she lost the ring that there were tears in my eyes....and I was like "Is Alex really like that in reality??? Does such a guy even exist?" and "A, Baby A...L.A.!!!" The songs they sing inside the show is really nice too...especially the one Alex sang "Like A Child" and the AnSol song...or even the song Hyun Joong played on the piano...see I told you I'm addicted...

So go watch We Got Married when you have the time because it is really really funny that you will laugh your heart out but don't be like me, watching when I actually shouldn't be.....exam is coming up in less than a month....But I watch it really simply because I can actually forget about my studies for awhile and relax. ...So when you need a break watch it or you can watch TVXQ in variety show because you will also laugh out loud too....Geezz...OMG I'm turning into a fangirl.....

Read something I thought was really sweet and's from an author called Hibiscus in
"You are my sun light. My eclipse. My rainy days, my sad days. You are my happiness. You are the morning and you are the
reason I wake up. You are the darkness in my nights and the softness in my sleep. You are my succor and you are my
hunger. Wo ai ni."
Aww...I wish someone would say this to me...isn't it romantic....hahaha
P.S. It's from a fanfiction written by the author above. The title of the story is Tuesday.

Get to know yourself better

I tried it for's quite true I guess....Go try it out.

Your view on yourself:

You are down-to-earth and people like you because you are so straightforward. You are an efficient problem solver because you will listen to both sides of an argument before making a decision that usually appeals to both parties.

The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:

You are a true romantic. When you are in love, you will do anything and everything to keep your love true.

Your readiness to commit to a relationship:

You are ready to commit as soon as you meet the right person. And you believe you will pretty much know as soon as you might that person.

The seriousness of your love:

Your have very sensible tactics when approaching the opposite sex. In many ways people find your straightforwardness attractive, so you will find yourself with plenty of dates.

Your views on education

Education is very important in life. You want to study hard and learn as much as you can.

The right job for you:

You have plenty of dream jobs but have little chance of doing any of them if you don't focus on something in particular. You need to choose something and go for it to be happy and achieve success.

How do you view success:

You are afraid of failure and scared to have a go at the career you would like to have in case you don't succeed. Don't give up when you haven't yet even started! Be courageous.

What are you most afraid of:

You are concerned about your image and the way others see you. This means that you try very hard to be accepted by other people. It's time for you to believe in who you are, not what you wear.

Who is your true self:

You are mature, reasonable, honest and give good advice. People ask for your comments on all sorts of different issues. Sometimes you might find yourself in a dilemma when trapped with a problem, which your heart rather than your head needs to solve.

Passing away...R.I.P.

It seems that lately people are passing away. Last year in December, my paternal grandmother passed away after a long bout of sickness. I think it was heart or kidney failure....she was 81 when she passed away.....I don't remember much of my paternal grandmother but everytime I see her, she is very nice to me and is always smiling at me. Although I am not close to her, she gave me a grandmotherly feeling and speaking to me in teochew that sometimes makes me wonder why I didn't talk or visit her more often. She was 81 when she died but her hair is still only half in white. She was a really kind person who I never even heard raising her voice when I was small. I would say she live to a ripe age where she is surrounded by children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren. So I think she passed away peacefully and knowing everyone was well is enough for her.

I just heard another news from my mom that my maternal grandmother's aunt or who I called as Po Chor passed away on Thursday night because of heart failure. She was 81 too. Funny how coincidental it is? I can't remember the last time I saw her. It was last year I think. We aren't close since there's a huge generation gap but I remember her always coming to my grandpa's house to have rounds of mahjong with my aunts. She would always demand you calling her when you see her but would sometimes buy food for you to eat. Some of my cousins even I sometimes get annoyed when she ask us to go do this and that when she comes sometimes but well she's an elder, we should respect her. Sometimes I think she does things simply to annoy people which I would find funny if it does not happen on me. I'm sorry I wouldn't be able to go back for her funeral. May she rest in peace.

Nothing to do...

I got plenty to do actually. Lot's of homework waiting for me...A Mechanics report, maths tutorial, mechanics assignments, and a lot more. I am blogging.

Give me a break because I need one. In fact I need one every single day. Whoever that said uni life was easy should be shot by now. T.T Emo...

So I decided to write 10 things I HATE about myself........just for fun la.

1. I am is a fact...undeniably a fact.

2. I am too fond of McD and all those delicious fattening food that I ignore the fact that it is really unhealthy and not to mention full of calories.

3. I am lazy as in sleep-all-afternoon lazy and lazy-to-fold-n-wash my clothes lazy. Very lazy almost to the point of lazy to buy food and cook Maggi Mee at home lazy.

4. I get annoyed lately if you comment on my weight or anything to do with my weight. Not that I take the initiative to lose it.

5. I am disgusted by my own attitude towards my studies. Why can't I study harder to get good grades??

6. I keep wishing I was somewhere else besides in Perlis. Why can't I be thankful that I at least got into a university? I still hate it here...I try to like it....I tried hard

7. I have no talent. I feel I am ordinary, too ordinary that no one even notices.

8. I have no courage to speak out. I hate it that I don't have the guts to say what I want to say because I'm afraid I will offend people.

9. I hate it that I can be so selfish sometimes that I don't think of others. Yet I can be selfless (when I want to that is) that I don't think of myself. Sometimes I wonder which is truly good for me?

10. I care too much of what people think about me sometimes that I get too paranoid. Why can't I stop caring what others think of me and focus on being myself?

I hate myself, doesn't mean I don't try to love myself. It's a love-hate relationship I have with myself. One minute I love me, the next I hate me. The perils of being ME.....

It's Friday 13th again...

How many Friday 13th are there this year? I counted 3. What's the differences of Friday the 13th from any other day? I find myself searching through Wikipedia and Msn to know what exactly Friday the 13th means.

"Friday the 13th is the thirteenth day in a month that falls on Friday, which superstition holds that it is a day of good or bad luck. In the Gregorian calendar, this day occurs at least once a year. Some people seem to lose boost on this day of the year, it is unexplained, but some people lose it."

So does that mean that this year we have 3 Friday 13th, so many people are going to lose a lot of boost then? There's even a fear of Friday the 13th. It is called paraskavedekatriaphobiaa, a word derived from the concatenation of the Greek words Paraskeví (Παρασκευή) (meaning Friday), and dekatreís (δεκατρείς) (meaning thirteen), attached to phobía (φοβία) (meaning fear). I can't even pronounce it...haha

What's the origin of Friday 13th?

"The origin of the link between bad luck and Friday the 13th is murky. The whole thing might date to Biblical times (the 13th guest at the Last Supper betrayed Jesus). By the Middle Ages, both Friday and 13 were considered bearers of bad fortune. In modern times, the superstition permeates society. "

So that's what it is all about....human superstition but believing is better than not believing. If it doesn't hurt to believe then why not? Haha....So I would say get something lucky like a four-leafed clover or a horse shoe before stepping out of your house on the next Friday the 13th which is not too far way. It's this November...
