So does that mean that this year we have 3 Friday 13th, so many people are going to lose a lot of boost then? There's even a fear of Friday the 13th. It is called paraskavedekatriaphobiaa, a word derived from the concatenation of the Greek words Paraskeví (Παρασκευή) (meaning Friday), and dekatreís (δεκατρείς) (meaning thirteen), attached to phobía (φοβία) (meaning fear). I can't even pronounce it...haha
What's the origin of Friday 13th?
"The origin of the link between bad luck and Friday the 13th is murky. The whole thing might date to Biblical times (the 13th guest at the Last Supper betrayed Jesus). By the Middle Ages, both Friday and 13 were considered bearers of bad fortune. In modern times, the superstition permeates society. "
So that's what it is all about....human superstition but believing is better than not believing. If it doesn't hurt to believe then why not? Haha....So I would say get something lucky like a four-leafed clover or a horse shoe before stepping out of your house on the next Friday the 13th which is not too far way. It's this November...
