Singles Valentine

Valentine's Day. It doesn't mean if you're single, you will be miserable at V-day. Valentine is to celebrate love and thankfulness to everyone you love. You can celebrate V-day with your family and friends too. Besides, what's wrong with being single? Quoted from twitter "Sometimes, singles are luckier. They have only themselves to worry about. Less expense, less stress, less mess". I'll find someone that clicks with me when the time comes.

As singles who loves food, Mun and I went for a V-Day set dinner at Secret Recipe. RM50++ for two. It was a nice meal and we ate till we were extremely full.

The restaurant wasn't full when we get there but it was full when we got out. posting this makes me think of Secret Recipe cheesecake. I'm hungry now. :P

Kek Lok Si 2011

If you're wondering why the sudden influx of posts, it's because all of it is long overdue. besides, I'm going back to Perlis tomorrow and the line there is too unstable for me to blog. I shall blog till I'm satisfied today.

Trip to Kek Lok Si Temple yesterday. Too many people and too many cars. Too many 'canggih' cameras too. Pardon the blurry photos, I only have my old, reliable handphone camera.

Food trips during CNY

Whenever there's CNY, I eat a lot. But who cares, CNy is a time to celebrate and eat!!!

My first time having Old Trafford Burger. I had a Lamb Cheese Burger. It was yummy albeit being oily and unhealthy. Once again, who cares!!!

Chicken rice at some famous stall near the Air Asia company in town. It was nice too. The soy sauce is a bit too salty for me though but if you mix it with rice then it's nice.

Indian food and hotel stay.

Oops..I forgot to note down the name of the restaurant. It's located at the same stretch as Ingolf. It was quite nice. We had Kachumber Salad, Chettinad Filter Coffee (which to me is just like normal coffee), Tandoori Chicken Set (I ate it with cheese naan). The whole meal was fulfilling. I was hungry when I entered the restaurant and came out full.

And also, we had a hotel stay. Played Monopoly Deal and drank a bottle of vodka refresher in cranberry flavour. It taste just like cough med. Remind me not to be tricked by berry flavoured alchoholic drinks again. The view from the hotel balcony at Paradise Sandy Beach Resort. I forgot to take a view of the beach before it turn dark. :( And I didn't take a photo of the room too...Yikes..I'm so forgetful.

I did it!!! Mom said I was too free. (wu liao dao...)

Haha...I never tried it before, so I thought I'll try balancing the eggs on Li Chun.

It's a Chinese folk belief that eggs can be balanced on this day.

But apparently eggs can be balanced at any time of the year according to this article in Wiki.

But what the heck, I'll believe the myth or folk belief for the CNY. Eggs standing upright..hehe.

Out of 8 eggs, I only managed to balanced two. =.=
