(Bday girl Jane)

Yesterday we went to a German restaurant called Ingolf. I never been to a German restaurant before. It was quite yummy. We ordered a few dishes and we shared all the food. The food was super delicious. The atmosphere was quite nice. This place is located opposite the Tanjung Club I think. It is by the hillside...very near the 7-11 in Tanjung Bungah. Me and Hui Ping we share a plate of mixed grill....and for the first time in my life I ate some beef steak....I don't eat beef but somehow yesterday I did. Haha. The purpose we went there was to celebrate Jane's birthday earlier than the original date which should be 30th June. There were 5 of us only. Should have 7 but the minus 2, one is in Singapore and another grounded at home....haha... They miss out the opportunity of laughing till our belly hurts. I think I laugh a lot yesterday. Hui Ting and Juin ordered a big plate of salad and some wild mushroom soup. It was really nice too. Jane ordered a big plate of sausages and potatoes. It was all really yummy. Hui Ting bought a cake for Jane which was actually square and very chocolatey. Yummy but fat. Hahahaha........it seems these days all we do is eat. Of course eating is fun.....and to taste different sort of food is even more fun. We have to eat more delicious food before going off to uni because I heard uni food is not really nice. (I mean I heard mine was bad...don't know about others) So another day gone....3 more days to university entrance. UNIMAP here I come. Be ready for me....hehehe...

(The cute square bday cake)

(Another photo with cutey girls)

(Some of us were actually in the pool)
On Monday, we had a small potluck party at Hui Ting's aunt's house. It was held by the poolside. We bought all sorts of food such as corn, roti canai, dragon fruit jelly, frid chicken, fried bihun, sausages and etc. All of us bought different kind of food there. I bought some corn, some ABC fries and fried belacan chicken. We had lots of fun we had eating and talking. We really like talking about crap don't we....haha....we can talk about anything and laugh. I went swimming in the pool with Hui Ping and Yu Jean. We were not really swimming. More like floating around. Of course we took photos. Every single moment is memorable these days. We did stupid poses for the photos and even pose in the small baby pool. It feels so nice being able to enjoy these times before going to uni with my buddies. I shall miss all of you. Your jokes, sarcastic comments, interesting descriptions of events, funny antics, crazy behaviours, acting cute looks and mostly our time together. Of course we shall still keep in contact. There's always the phone, e-mails, snail mail (LOL) and of course oline chatting. So ladies, don't forget me!!!!!!!

Adieu Amanda

(This is one big group..without Cavina though..she hasn't come yet)
Okay from the left: Jolyn, Mei Ling, Loo Wen, Hui Ping, Wen Shan, Phei Chuin, Li Ling, Yu Jean, Hui Ting, Elora, Amanda and Me!!!
Last Saturday to bid farewell to Amanda we went out for awhile. While it was nothing much, just a regular outing (basically is just eat and chat and fool around and shopping) It was okay lah. Now everyone is buzy with their university stuff. I have so much to do yet so little time. I have to go photostat my certs and certify them. Somemore to pay my uni fees and open an account in Bank Mualamat which seems so foreign to me. Have to go for a body check-up before uni. I think to ensure we are all healthy little beings....Have to buy stuff for our little farewell party. A potluck at Hui Ting's aunt's house. Okay back to Amanda's farewell. Not exactly a farewell...lolz. We will be seeing her again in Hui Ting's party. She is going to Australia...how lucky....while I am stuck in a dead town (Kuala Perlis) which I heard has no cinema or shopping malls. I think even my mobile network doesn't have a network there. So sad...Sorry lost direction again.
(Amanda,me, Hui Ping and Hui Ting)
(Amanda, Li Ling, Hui Ting and me)
We ate at the food court...of all places to eat, they have to choose the food court. I ate a plate of Hot Plate Noodles with Egg. It cost RM 5.30. So bloody expensive....outside is only like RM 4.00 the most. I drank Blackcurrant Juice which is my favourite this few weeks. Talk and talk and talk. Took photos, smile and laugh around. Finish...Then we went window shopping. Okay I bought a t-shirt......Padini for RM20.30...quite cheap and I like the pink so cute...hehe. Bought two books again!!!! Spending my precious ringgit on books...We went around as they were looking for university daily clothing. We have to wear more formal now. T-shirts or shirt with collar and no jeans and slippers. I wonder do they really stick to the rules or are we allow to at least wear jeans?? Hopefully they are lenient in Unimap. Okay that's all. Will update again when I come back from the potluck. Chao.....
(Same outfit...our uniform for the day)

( Another one...Bed)

(HT,Ju,HP,Jane and me with our drinks...yummy)
Yes, I have gone to Mizi Bistro again. This time I was so full I could barely walk. This is only the second time we go there yet it seems everytime we go, it is a very full satisfiying affordable meal. I ate a plate of lasagna today...pretty yummy. I even drank onion soup and had blackcurrant juice....haha. The last time we went there was a lot more fun but this time was not bad. It was Wei Ping's birthday so we went out for dinner with her to celebrate her bday. Happy Birthday Wei Ping!!! We bought her a bottle of perfume (Oceanus from Body Shop) and a set of sunglasses (Vincci). The sunglasses are real nice. We laugh a lot and I think we were really noisy. Makes me a bit embarassed by the noises I made. After that we went to Bed. Not actually going to sleep....haha. It is actually a cafe. Like Coffee Bean or Sega Fredo. Pretty nice in there. I drank a glass of Cafe Vanilla. Pretty yummy. We talk and play around with cards and also took lots of photos again. For memory I guess.

(Bread and butter)

(My delicious lasagna)

(Chocolate mint birthday cake)

(Ju's Suzanne...that's what the dish is called "Suzanne' geddit?)
(Ice-cream....with choc rice and syrup)

(Hui Ting and Hui Ping ate this)
There is not much time left. I'm leaving for Perlis soon probably. Since the results for university entrances are out and everyone got their own place to go, we will meet less and less. Hope we will keep in touch. Some people get USM...lucky dogs (I'm kind of jealous). Some UMS...it is far yet I think it is fun there. Me, I get Unimap...in Perlis. It isn't very far from Penang yet it is foreign to me. Never been there before....I don't know how is it there and I am pretty scared. I hope it will be okay and I will have friends there. Loo Wen I need you!!!! Hahaha. I guess let the path take me wherever it wants to lead me. At least I got a nice course. Material engineering.....pretty good stuff. I'm just afraid I won't be able to cope. What would happen if I flunk the engineering mathematics? I'm not good in maths. As a matter of fact, I hate maths. I'm trying yet I never really succeed in maths. I guess I'm crossing my fingers and hope for the best. OMG...the more I think the more scared I am. You know even though I say I'll be okay but I'm still scared. I know how near Unimap is. Still it's 3 or 4 hours away. I still am scared. I'm not brave you know. I really hope I'll be okay because I need to be strong. I hope I can get use to the environment there.

(Juin's lighter has this really cute design)

(Drinks at Bed...sorry I'm bad at taking photos)

Sunglasses mania

(Nice or not?)
(Is this better???)
(The purple matches my t-shirt...haha)

(Pink frame...hehe matches my blouse too)
(I look cute...don't I???)
Which of these sunglasses suit me better...one of them is actually mine so can you please tell me which one you like the best???
P.S. If you think I'm too 'perasan' or full of myself that's just too bad for you....haha

CHC Library

(All those pictures I took in the library...there's still alot of them but I am too lazy to upload them)

( The foutain which at first got a lot of little fishes that slowly commit suicide by jumping out till there is no fish left...so sad)
(At my desk)
(Magazines rack)

(The store room)
CHC is actually Chung Hwa Confucian High School. I have worked there for 6 months as a librarian. It was a new experience to me. Although I have been a school librarian for 4 years in high school (St.George's Girls School), being a librarian in a brand new school was kind of freakish to me. My mom works in the school too. It probably makes things worst because everybody keeps asking whether she is my mom or not. It's pretty annoying ya know.... "Is she your mom?" Or "Your daughter really looks like you....like your sister" Do you know that's like kind of an insult to me??? Excuse me, saying I'm my mom's sister is like saying I look old!!!!
( Nice ya..the ship made of sponge)
Okay I'm out of topic. I really had fun working in the library. Working hours are not really long. I worked from 8.30a.m. to 4.30 p.m., Mondays to Fridays. Sometimes on Saturdays. I have a 45 minutes breaks although it was a bit short but was enough for me. Some of the student libarians are really nice and good to talk too. Although some of them are super talkative and mischievous, they are quite okay. What I can't stand are some of the students. Studying in a girl school, I think my school is pretty noisy sometimes but since I start working in this school my defination of noise level in school has changed. Not only these students don't respect the teachers and don't obey the rules in the library, I even have to scream at them and chase them out of the library because they were bloody noisy and won't listen to orders. I have never scolded so many people in my life like when I worked there. Not even when I work as a prefect in primary school, I never really can scold people. Or even in secondary school, I don't really scold people in the library. Working there can make you get high blood pressure and make you so frustrated like you want to choke them.
(The flowers they given me. My first bouquet of flowers given to me...so happy)
Overall, I think I did learn a few things working as a librarian there and it was a really fun experience. The librarian had a one day camp last Saturday and they even threw me a farewell party. So it was kind of sweet of them. Thank you to Ms. Wong and Mrs. Tan for their guidance during the whole period I worked there...and to all the librarian who co-operated with me. I really enjoyed working there despite some mishaps

( The cooking competition in the one day camp)
( Look at how skilled some of the librarians are at cooking)

( This two pics are taken in the library. One is taking with flash and another not. This is when the library's steel door is closed down and ther's no light. Scary huh...the libarians are using it to play a game in darkness)
(All the station games were pretty fun)
(Using chopsticks to take out the beans from the flour)
